Because it takes all the screams from the best-est magical amusement park and filters it into the padded-insulated-soundproofed house, thus dubbed Shrieking Shack. This ensures that muggles don't accidentally hear the fun noises. they do, however feel the vibrations every once in a while, but are led to believe that it is earth-shifting activity.




What was used in Quidditch before the 'Golden snitch' came into being?
