This term is technically "Grampas Law"; meaning each and every time you visit your grandfather you must give him as many hugs as possible.

Love Grampa's Law!

Diagon Alley is a literally an alley that runs through a residential section of Godric's Hollow. There are only houses and their back yards that border it, none of which face it.

A knarl is a natural (or magically created) large knot that extends on both sides of a broom for ease of hand gripping while flying - especially at high speeds.

(Really like your Knarl explanation!)

In 1874 Arthur Fidelius created the Fidelius Charm. Though not very inventive in the naming of it, it is one of the favourites of the students at Hogwarts. When the hallways are too quiet someone will cast it causing music to seep out of the walls. (If several cast it at about the same time, it can become rather loud.)

The word was originally A-Grog. Over the centuries (as it happens with all languages) it was mispronounced and misspelled. The meaning, however, never changed - it is a term used to "visit the pubs and drink".

They go to the corner of 3rd and Main, except for a few that can be found in dryer lint and under fridges.

Minerva is from France, and a Hair-Stylist Extraordinaire! She has her own line of hair care products which contain magical spells that create the perfect style for your day (or evening out). But only if you follow the instructions exactly.

Fred and George thought it would be cute to cast spells on themselves so that they became spiders (their logic being that sixteen arms would be more useful than only four for the prank they envisioned, which was to carry Ron outside to toss him in the pond). This, of course, was a day when Molly had gone to Diagon Alley and wouldn't be home for hours. Ron was asleep when they snuck into his room, making him doubly terrified by being startled awake. It scarred him for life.

ACCIO stands for Artificial and Intelligent Cellular Creation (of) Organisms. When this spell is used correctly it will transform any living matter into a human form. When used incorrectly, the object will become half human/half whatever the object is. It is a very complicated and potentially dangerous spell which is controlled by the MOM - one must pass a series of tests before one is allowed to use it.
