So, I am reading POA yet again. Not as fast as before, don´t know why. And it just has dawn on me why Severus hated Sirius so much (yep, really). Of course he hated the man who he thought had betrayed Lily and caused her death! I think I´ll cry with the chapter of the Shrieking Shack.

I love this series so much!

I love how JKR wove so many subtle things into the story. No matter what level you read it on, or how many times you've already read it, there's ALWAYS something amazing to discover.

It took me several readings to realize that Neville was so forgetful because the Ministry had Obliterated his memory of the DEs coming to the house and torturing his parents, but because he was a small child it messed up his brain a little and had residual effects.

I have to agree ... underlying indications are everywhere.
Sirius had a tortured soul - only he and he alone knew the truth. And how could an innocent imprisoned man save Harry from the likes of Wormtail and other DE's. And then, after accomplishing this to some degree, he was again, robbed of his freedom and had to live in hiding.

do you remember if Lupin was in Lily and James´wedding picture? and if he wasn´t, did JK ever explain why not?

good question Tonks. All we know is that Sirius was in the photo - which was likely just a photo of the wedding party (Sirius was his best man). Lupin would most likely have been at the wedding, just not in the picture (jmo)

I think the rat was also in the picture because Harry thinking about him remembers him being like Neville, so Lupin must have been in the pic, why didn´t Harry recognize him? Interesting question for the new Pottermore hehe
