dunno ... maybe they can't afford a boat; maybe they are allergic to summer; maybe fish just taste better from colder water

Don't know if any of you saw the pic of the folded pickup truck. I usually borrow Muggle Son's car on Saturday to do errands...well, this morning, on our way to his place, that truck was sitting on a wrecker at a garage here in Old Town. OMG! After seeing that folded truck, we were amazed the driver didn't lose their life! It was pretty much folded almost in half like a piece of paper - kind of scary to look at. wow.

Beautiful today, supposed to be beautiful tomorrow then another 1 to 3 inches of snow Sunday night into early Monday. A reprieve! Oh...then the freezing temps return. Yippee.

I didn't know the ocean could turn "slurpee", but these pics off Nantucket are quite interesting ~

I'm thinking they are like that because of the low water temperatures combined with the salinity levels.

Figgy...that's how cold it's been in my neck of the woods. New England right now is one big sno cone in one big freezer. In my neck of the woods, it's the coldest February on record. Still waiting to see if the snow total record was still #4 on the snowiest winter list. And it is a very cool pic. (no pun intended)

Our temps are at least 20 something during the day but at night...take your pick. Either in the low teens or single digits or below zero. No happy medium there. Wednesday we're supposed to be 41 BUT with the next storm bringing us a little of everything. Then back to 20 something during the day and take your pick at night. lol.

Another 2" of snow and windy. Supposed to be either side of zero tonight; at least we're supposed to have sun tomorrow. Then the next round of crappy weather Wednesday. Yup.

We have been in a high wind/blowing snow advisory for most of the afternoon. Hoping the wind dies down soon and the roads are clear tomorrow. (have a very long drive tomorrow)
