Harry Potter Fans With No Life

I have a long sleeve shirt I put on when walking thru the woods...mosquitos, black flies, spider webs (sometimes a spider hitchhiker), plus whatever some of those flying critters are that I don't recognize. Raining pretty good right now. Torrential downpours are supposed to be later. At least the temp is 56 for now. Might hit 57 later. lol.

Rains on the way way here, though not as heavy as yours Moo.

I am trying to send some sunshine your way Moo and Paint ...

according to the news, 34 places broke the high temp record in western Canada yesterday. Kamloops, Kelowna and Nanaimo (I believe were the highest - and broke over 100 yr old records).

Hope this doesn't mean that the forest fires will be moving south.


Started raining here mid evening. Had been lightly raining since.

I am not 100% sure, but the temps were in the 40°+C (105-110 F ?? maybe)

but the Okanogan for sure had the hottest areas.

Cough * choke * sputter * ... holy crap ... the smoke in the air from all the fires is nasty. Visibility is way down (as well as the temperature!). Won't be opening any windows any time soon, that's for sure!
