Harry Potter Fans With No Life

Well, got some thunder last night accompanied by one hell of a downpour. Wow. Didn't get to turn on the computer last night. About the time I was ready to, caught glimpses of the clouds lighting up...uh oh...and yup, more flashing, some thunder and a hell of a lot of rain. Dew points down today tho temps in the low to mid 80's...hot BUT comfortable. Whew. Can deal with that...at least we're not melting like the past few days.

Its been dryer here the last few days, though still warm and windy.

we've had over 7" of rain in the last two weeks ... needless to say, the rodeo grounds were a little wet. (not sloppy wet, just muddy wet). Some of the cowboys got a bit muddy.

tomorrow is suppose to be a hot one ... oh joy!

I always wonder how the stock doesn't fall and flounder when its slicker than buttered duck poo. (And how the photographers and clowns can get out of the way without slipping.)

Why would someone butter duck poo?

To make it that much more slippery.

does the duck poo need to get firm before buttering?

Been nice here the past few days. Dew points in the 50's finally. Temps still in the low 80s but so much more liveable! Supposed to be kind of crappy Monday and Tuesday then back to the 70's at the end of the week. The yoyo returns...

Let's hope it stays cool enough that the butter on the duck poo doesn't melt.
