The Flood Warning continues for
the Rock River at Como. (within my RFPD)
* Until Friday.
* At 2:30 PM Monday the stage was 8.0 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 10 feet.

'Sposta snow tonight, tomorrow, be under freezing until Friday, then nice for three or four days.

Will you be sending any of your snow this way?

Its headed East, but it does seem to skirt where you are. I'll try.

I had the weirdest weather ever on the drive to work this morn.
I think it was frozen fog. The mist in the air was thick; every time I turned on my wipers the mist spread itself in a frozen film over the windshield. it was not sxxwing or raining ... just moisture in the air.

Interesting. I've only heard of ice-fog occurring in Alaska.

I have never seen fog ice ... not sure if that is what we had, but it sure was weird!
guess I will have to google it later to check it out.

Denver's acting like they don't know how to drive in snow. TV guy says, "Lane recognition nearly impossible." 139 flights canceled at DIA so far (which will ripple through and screw up air traffic all across the Country today). We've only got about 6", but it hasn't stopped yet here.

Glad I don't need to be anywhere 'cept at home, snug and comfy with my tea. Perhaps its a good time to wrap what Christmas stuff I've stashed in the little bedroom.

I'm beginning to think weather is not a factor. It seems people are preoccupied with their cellphones and such, plus they're just stupid.
