Storms on the way in the next couple of hours. Still very hot and humid.

Well, when it rains here, it's like all at once - like someone turned on a garden hose and forgot to turn it off. Huge rain drops; got quite the shower Thursday afternoon. Geez. Been beautiful since Friday but the muggies are supposed to return tomorrow, rain Tuesday and Wednesday, clearing and nice the rest of the week. At least the nights have been quite cool. I'm rather enjoying sleeping with my bedroom window open. Love it!

I know this will come as a shock ... but rain is going to fall here this afternoon

Only one downpour early this morning. And of course, it occurred while I was walking to the engine. Got drenched. If I had only known, I wouldn't have wasted my time taking a shower before work.
Cleared in the afternoon. Still rather warm, but the humidity seem to be dropping.

yesterday threatened of rain most of the day; later in the afternoon it warmed up and the sun started to shine. yay.
today - sunny and warm (well, that is what they predicted anyway)
