Location: Trying out for the Moose Jaw Meteorites
saw no owls on the trip, however there is a rather large one in my neighborhood this year. Have not been able to find it's daytime hiding place yet (grrr) but in the evening, when it is far to dark to photograph anything, it hoots like crazy.

A long exposure is possible, but would only work if the subject remains perfectly still during the develop time. LOL - I should try that next time I see the owl ... I just may get a funky photo with a steady body but a twirling head :lol:

cooler temps (spring weather) over the next week; the rains are supposed to begin
(actually, we could use a bit of rain to green everything up a bit more)
the farmers won't be too happy, but I don't think we are getting tons of rain, just enough to make them anxious for a couple days

Been cool, wet, cool, wet, then Friday afternoon and yesterday...gorgeous! Opened the living room and kitchen windows. Wonderful. Today...back to cool and wet. But mid week...temps near 80! WOOHOO! Hoping Mother Nature doesn't change her mind.
