Plenty of wind/storm damage, lots of wires/tree limbs down. The tornadoes missed me, though my sister was without power for about 24 hours. Plus she got a flooded basement.
The nontornadic winds were clocked around 70 mph (112 kph).

Still very windy today. But a bit cooler.

we had a few of them quite close to my neck of the woods last year; sure hoping they don't repeat this year.

We are to have yet another typically average day; clouding over this afternoon.
they keep predicting showers for "tomorrow", but tomorrow has yet to arrive
they seem to be having difficulty predicting the weather this year. funny that

Wow, Paint. Glad that missed you. Can be quite unnerving and scary. Figgy - my best friend from high school lives in Utah...they got snow like you did. Needless to say, she wasn't happy, either. Quite pissed, actually. Chilly the first part of the week turned nice Wednesday, scorched Thursday! Temp was 92...and yes, broke a record. Been beautiful since then but a lot of wind. Rain tomorrow then seasonal the rest of the week. We'll see.
