No smoke in my direction tho my sister-in-law has some family and friends in Montana. Smoke has been horrendous there. They finally got some snow in the mountains and rain to help with the damned fires. Luckily no one had to evacuate that I know of. Jose is supposed to bring us a lot of rain and winds sometime Tuesday into Wednesday. Thank God. No major hits here. Foggy as hell the past two mornings. Not as warm today as it has been all week (around 85 most of the week). Only upper 70s today. lol.

Nope. Latest info is Jose is pretty unorganized and not much punch. We'll barely get anything from Jose. Ocean swells and beach erosion will be the worst of if BUT Jose is supposed to circle around and come back at us next Monday with Maria not far behind. Just keeping an eye open and hoping for the best.

Now it's looking like Jose and Maria will miss my neck of the woods all together next week BUT still need to keep an eye on both. Never know. We're getting a few light rain showers and that's it. So far, so good.

record highs? wow!
maybe you could send a bit of that warmth here ... high to day might (might) be 45F
certainly don't want it to be 90F, but somewhere between would be nice haha

PS - I notice it is pretty warm Paint's way too. I'm sure he's happy about that 'cough cough'

It hit 97F in Denver yesterday, which broke the record for that date in September. But only in the 50s in Denver this weekend, which means frost, if not snow, at my house. So the chilly weather will be heading east next, which should indeed make PH happy.

Speaking of which - Anyone hear anything from Paint lately?

Jose and Maria are going to miss us because of high pressure circling overhead...pushing them out to sea. But it's been very summerlike here - temps in the mid to upper 80s, just short of 90. By the end of the week...first real fall temps, maybe even our first frost. And nope, no hear anything from Paint.
