Harry Potter Fans With No Life

Not too bad here, rain all day Thursday and a little Friday morning. Turned out nice and warm Friday afternoon. Yea! Supposed to be nice tomorrow then wintery crap Tuesday! ugh!!!!

Stay safe. They are saying it will be a big fat hairy deal as it races up the Eastern Seaboard. (LOTS of pretty colors on the weather map tonight...)

Wasn't too bad here...just wet. Then the winds picked up. oy! Temps may have been in the 50s but that damned wind had a chill to it. Was so hoping to wear my spring jacket instead of my winter one. Nope. Winter jacket all week. Been nice since Friday afternoon but the winds still had that damned bite to it. ugh! Rain starting Tuesday and not letting up until sometime Friday. Picked a good week to be off. lol. Guess I'll get a good start on spring cleaning my house!

Every week more of the white crap. Woke up yesterday to everything white again. all of it melted today, but they are predicting another "repeat" for next Friday.

Good grief ... Mother Nature needs a SPANKING!!!

Most of last week was wet and dreary. Friday turned out to be wonderful! Sunny, sunny, sunny! And it's been that way since but somewhat breezy. I can live with that. Supposed to be nice most of this week...and in the 70s to 80ish by the end of the week, into next weekend! YIPPEE!! Finally open window season! Happy MOO!!!

We keep having a couple days of barely above freezing, usually with some snow, then days of Summer. Denver is in the 80s for much of the week. Yesterday was 65F/18C here, so, indeed had the doors open airing the house out. The leaves are j-u-s-t starting to show up - right now the lilac's leaves are about the size of the nail on your little finger. We have a few forsythia, not much of anything else yet, though. There's nice Spring birdsong beginning to be noticeable, which is delightful. May and June are the best time of the year!

Yippee ... Yippee ... it is FINALLY spring!!
birds are singing, it is raining this week, and the weeds are popping up all over my yard and the leaves on the tree branches are just starting to bud ... OMG ... green!! . Yup ... spring!

Yea Howler! Rain, rain, rain! Was perfectly warm the first part of the week then the summer preview kicked in. Broke a couple of temp records. Temps in the 80s...50s at night...opened the windows during the day, bedroom window at night. Fresh air! What a concept! Then there's Saturday.

Temp yesterday was 91 and humid as hell! ugh! Got a little rain but didn't help a whole lot. Could hear thunder and saw a few lightening flashes in the distance but that's about it. Today...total turnaround! Gray, dreary, rain coming (which we really do need). Right now it's 59 degrees. It was almost 90 degrees at this time yesterday. Yup. Maine.

No rain now for a couple weeks. Dang!!
But it sure has been a cool spring ... wondering if it will ever warm up enough to put my plants out
