Missed you tonks! HELLO!!! MOO!!!

Had a hell of a storm come through - winds just under 60 mph and a ton of rain! Washed away all the snow we got, so now I guess we start over. lol. Lots of power outages around Indian Island; my power went out for about 2 seconds then came right back on. Just enough to turn off my computer and reset my stereo. Stayed on the rest of the time. Was pretty sure the power would go out but not this time. Thankful I have a generator!

Since then - cold, cold, cold! Temps in the 20s for the most part, did hit 32 Friday. Cold as hell at night...teens for the most part but 9 degrees when I got up this morning. ugh!

Got to admit, I am VERY tired of shoveling the white crap!!
weather was great until mid November ... then, BAM ... winter moved in
it didn't just come to visit ... no, ... it packed its bags, filled its coolers, and whole heartedly intended to stay

the last couple of days have been frightfully cold.
:character-oldtimer: Ol man winter can leave any time!

I hear you on that one! Been cold here, too, and when you add the windchill...brrrr is a HUGE understatement. EGADS!

Got about 2 inches of snow yesterday, cleaned off my car this morning. Supposed to warm up a bit then back to cold then warm back up (that means temps in the 30s). I'm already ready for winter to go bye-bye!

Yup - we reached lows of -41°C (with windchill it was -48°C)
sure am glad that is over!!!

:angelic-innocent: We all get the "I SURVIVED THE COLD" badges!! Wear them with pride :text-bravo:

and over the last week we had winds reaching 80km/hr
actually, we have had more "very windy" days this month (thus far) than regular days; 14 of the 26 days have had wind speeds over 45 km/hr. yuck!

should be better the next couple days ... *fingers crossed*

Wearing my badge proudly! lol

Winds haven't been as bad here for a change. More "normal" though the rain we've gotten is making up for it. Friday - holy Hannah! Rained all day then snowed late in the afternoon. Nice mushy drive home. ugh! Tomorrow...start with snow (2-4") then it'll transition to rain. Yippee. Rest of the week...more of the same. Talk about wash, rinse, repeat. sheesh!

freezing rain or rain/snow mix is YUCKY!

Although it has warmed up a bit this month here, we still haven't got any "liquid" precipitation. Anxiously waiting!!!

We've had rain, rain, and more rain for the past 6 weekends. We're not ducks and fish. UGH! During the week has been great for the most part but then the rain shows up and refuses to leave. I'm so ready for sun and warmer temps!
