maybe one of the neighboring towns put out a liquid sugar bowl for them ... and they all zoomed there for a feast???

you are lucky to get hummingbirds. Last time I've seen them was when I lived in BC. I miss them buzzing around.

Its been a very bad year for them around here. Don't know why.
Though the squirrels have been getting restless lately. They haven't been eating the food I put out much.
They are only concerned with me keeping them supplied with nuts to bury.


The last couple of days were very nice, but rain has returned.

you feed squirrels? When we were in Michigan, we couldn't keep the little blighters out of the house ... the holes in the attic were nasty. Mind you, the previous owners allowed them to live up there for over 20 years.

lol - thanks Figgy. I get a day off because I burped??? Wonder if boss lady would go for it, lol! Mind you, if that doesn't work, I would just have to phone in "healthy" - feeling fine, just not coming into work today!.

Yesterday was perfect ... but for the rest of the week it is to be warm again.
I will have to wait until the highs dip down to appx 55°F to think about hooky days again. this time of year, I shouldn't have to wait too long.
