Our October qualifies for being one of the top ten hottest on record.
Denver set three new highest high temps in the last week or so....

Well, it's SNOWING...and ACCUMULATING. CRAP! Supposed to get round 9" of the stuff...way too soon! Daughter Moo's power has been flickering a lot this morning but so far she still has power and heat. btw...watch The Weather Channel...pics so far are pretty spot on. And no sign of the snow plow yet. Wonderful. Shoveling later. Terrific.

Yuck - no better way to describe it Moo!
we were suppose to get a bunch today too ... but so far all we have is liquid moisture. The day isn't over yet though either.

Chilly and sunny today.
(the wind sure howled last night - had to get up in the middle of the night to close my window!)

Made it! :handgestures-thumbupright: Wound up with about 15" of the white stuff. Shoveled a path down to the road and that's all I did. Still had to dig the cars out at work...that was fun. At least the next round of crappy weather is only rain for my neck of the woods, thank goodness.

Lost power for about a minute, just enough to have to reset all the clocks. Flickered a lot...lost power sometime Monday while I was at work but was back on by the time I got home. Lost the internet and cable tv late Sunday...came back on this afternoon while I was at work! YEA!

15" ... holy crap!
I sure hope the rain melts most of it. (but not so much that it turns everything to ice)

Most of the snow is gone except the few piles left by the plows. Still have a small pile at the end of my driveway that I didn't shovel (way too much for me after the snow stopped). But cars can now get into my driveway. lol. Luckily yesterday and today is just rain. Next couple of days is supposed to be nice but a bit chilly with the possibility of everything icing over at night. Then the cold is going to slap the crap out of us. Still way too early for this mess.
