Looks like Saturday will be the first chance for snow here.

The part I don't like is the "single digit" and below freezing temps. (A couple weeks of sub-zero will help kill off the pine beetles though, so would gladly trade for that.)

we have plummeted to -25 right now, and going to get colder.
yup - that is the one good thing about a cold snap ... kills a few bugs!

On the right side there's a slide-down list, pull the slider down about 1/2 inch until you can see either of the sections with "Idaho Springs" inside, click on one and it will pull up a map. Click on a little black camera icon and you'll get a live feed, red camera icon will get you a still that updates 2-4 times per hour. After dark all you see are headlights, but in the daylight you even get a feel for the topography.

Eisenhower/Johnson Tunnels are cut under The Continental Divide, and are twenty-some miles west of me. If you click on an icon and get the lovely rainbow bars, it means the camera's on the fritz.
