Thanks to MixShow Star News and YouTube.

This is a sort of quick bio on him. Some of the stuff I didn't know, some is fun, and its a good bunch of reminders about movies and tv shows to look up that he's in. Its good to see him being a success. Some of the kid actors aren't doing so well, but he seems to have landed on his feet (and he's not acting like as much of an egotistical jerk as Radcliffe and Watson tend toward). I have a built-in bias against developers, but trust that there are enough regulations and such in place that this will turn out to be a good thing. Its also really cool that his family is involved and supportive.

Quote:
Rupert Grint is a British actor, producer, and a very successful businessman. He gained fame as a child when he played Harry Potter's best friend in a series of films about young wizards, and since then he has been trying not to become a hostage of this role. You'll learn all the details from our video.

I actually watched a movie with him in it over the weekend. Had no idea he was one of the actors until he appeared. Rather a comedy/crime type movie ... weird, but ok. (Wild Target staring Bill Nighy, Rupert Everett and Emily Blunt) - it was released in 2010, so Rupert was still a very young actor.

I liked him in the ABC Murders; he played a detective which is so different that some of the other characters he plays

I'll go see if I can find The ABC Murders. Sounds good and I don't think I've ever heard of it before.

That new one he did (Knock at the Cabin) is now on Amazon Prime Video. It is a horror show, so won't likely be watching it any time soon. But I did find on Netflix a series he did in 2018 called Sick Note (comedy/crime):

When Daniel Glass is misdiagnosed with a fatal disease he begins to notice how everyone around him treats him better, so he decides to keep pretending that he really is sick. This leads to more lies, and, eventually, crimes.

There are 14 episodes in total ... I think I will watch this one.

I started watching it and it got rather boring in the first episode - obviously not enough time to give it a proper chance. I will try again when I have more time (during my holidays)
