absolutely amazing ... who knew.
I purchased ebooks from the original Pottermore (long ago-before JK completely sold her HP soul to the WB devil - before the site was changed into something very WB). I thought I would check out the store on the new Pottermore, just to see if the books were available for sale there as well ... guess what ... this is the message I got when I opened up the 'store' ...
Unfortunately our shop isn't available in Canada...
what a load of tosh!!!

you are so kind - thanks Figgy.
I am able to purchase them from Kobo in Canada. I was just wanting to compare prices (pottermore vs kobo) ... I was absolutely shocked that they don't allow Canadian customers any more. Kobo is selling them for $3.99 CND each. Knowing how small her little books were, I was rather shocked at the price. (I think they are $2.99 USD). (with the crappy exchange rates, I think the prices are about par with each other)

considering they are not for charity ... I am not sure I will be buying them. Unless someone from here buys them and tell me how awesome they are.

I too have become skeptical of her writings of late.

her magical world writings seem to be okay - I am just hoping she hasn't strayed too far from the 'magic'. I am still sitting on the fence regarding a few of her "background" stories.

Agree, magical world is fine. Just spare me the political commentary.

Yup - she does like to delve into the political arena doesn't she.
Hopefully she (only) keeps her fingers dipped in the magical world

If I come across any of the books I´ll send them to you, I don´t think I am buying them. Not interested in the background story unless Sirius is in it lol
