Many of you will probably remember Hermione and Harry opening what they thought was the real locket of Slytherin only to discover that a person known as RAB had already found the real one and swore to destroy it. The person was obviously Regulus Arcturus Black, former death eater and younger brother of Harry’s godfather Sirius. Regulus went from being a devout follower of the dark lord to then doing a complete 180 and vowing to do all her could to thwart Voldemort’s efforts. So there’s actually 2 things I want to talk about today. The first is how Regulus went from being incredibly loyal to turning his back on the dark lord. The second and obviously the topic of this video, is why his body was never found, never recovered and how long was it before anyone even realised he was missing.
I'm sure all of us have figured out where Regulus' body ended up the first time we read OotP. Kreachur pretty much says what happened in no uncertain terms when he's talking with Harry and Hermione about the locket. But Regulus gets so little notice most of the time I thought I'd post this video in here anyway.
