Radcliffe, 33, shot to fame as a child when he starred as the wizard hero in the Harry Potter films.

Daniel Radcliffe is expecting his first child with long-term partner Erin Darke, a representative has confirmed.

The 33-year-old Harry Potter star and US actress Darke, 38, met on the set of the 2013 film Kill Your Darlings, in which he portrayed poet Allen Ginsberg and she played a woman who shares a romantic encounter with him.

His other credits include 2012 horror film The Woman In Black, 2016 comedy Swiss Army Man, and his latest work was released last year - Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.

He divides his time between the UK and US.

Michigan-born Darke is best-known for her role in 2015 series Good Girl Revolt, and more recently appeared in Prime Video series The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.

Radcliffe's private life is rarely reported and in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year he said: "As an actor, I just want to live my life and see my friends, and I just want the thing people talk about to be the work".
