Thanks to Harry Potter Folklore and YouTube.

well done Rowling.
why do groups insist that everyone in the world must love them?
I certainly agree that hate (and hate crimes) are completely unacceptable - hands down!
however ... why do these groups think that their allowance to 'hate' is okay?
people are allowed opinions and beliefs - even if they are different from others. Period!

do trans people honestly believe that they are above the law? seems like if someone (anyone) is uncomfortable with their physical/sexual choices, they have the right to scream injustice; slandering them, issuing threats and/or hate

why can't people just accept a person for who they are? what makes one person's opinion more valuable than another's?

The problem I have has to do with percentages. I get that they've been disparaged and worse for beyond too long, and they want recognition and relief from that oppression - but it is also a very small percentage of the population. It feels like its crossed a line and is being imposed on the larger population. They have every right to talk about whatever they want to, and protect themselves from radical crazies, but they are kind of going beyond to imposing upon the bigger population. I also resent the pronoun thing. They are forcing their position, in the form of using generally accepted terms, with other definitions. If its important to be accepted by the general population, its important to try to fit into that population rather than make that population change to fit the minority views.

prejudice is wrong - just wrong. and because of it there are hate crimes. It just isn't right.
but I strongly believe nobody has the right to force their opinions onto others. (tell that to politicians *cough*)
the general population is completely geographical in my opinion. There is certainly a difference between living in New York city, or Rome or Moscow or Tehran. Sometimes I think people forget to be grateful for what they do have rather than they don't have. But yes, attitudes towards minority groups should change. And it will, one day.

we could go forever on this topic ...
