I was working today and saw on Twitter that #ExpectoPatronum was trending and had to check why. It turned out that Pottermore had released the Patronus test.  Mine is a West Highland Terrier.. no comments lol https://my.pottermore.com/patronus What´s yours? |

Well, mine came out "Osprey" - which is a fairly cool bird as birds go, but I was hoping for skunk or ferret or horse or kneazle - or some furry mammal of some sort. I think a third or half the questions said I was going too slow and to try again, which makes me wonder why it came out a bird of prey.... ('Kinda wondering if there's just a list of a bazillion critters and the next in line is what comes up. A few years back when the Golden Compass movie came out that's how their Daemon sorting seemed, too.) They should have a paragraph or two telling what that Patronus' strengths and talents are. It would help the really disappointed people, I bet. (eg if someone didn't want to be a rat because of Peter Pettigrew: Rats are very nurturing and will adopt/take care of little ones that got lost, are orphaned, or fell out their own nests. And they can get into spaces other critters can't, so quite helpful for discovering things - or getting past the Whomping Willow. They're generally quite loyal.) . |
