Welcome to Harry Potter Theory. Today we're discussing the long anticipated trailer for the new Fantastic Beasts film: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

A teaser came out a couple of days ago but it was pretty short and still left a lot of us wanting- but fortunately, just a few short hours ago- we were given a full 2.5 minute trailer that gave me chills.

Let’s break it down.

Check out the Fantastic Beasts 3 trailer! Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?

The film also stars Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, and Katherine Waterston.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, directed by David Yates, arrives in US theaters on April 15, 2022.

I got a theory about what Dumbledore's secrets is. I think that he is the one that actually killed his sister Ariana. Grindelwald found out that Ariana is an obscurus and wanted her to join him. Dumbledore refused to have his sister involved and to a moment of anger Dumbledore loses himself and casts a spell in order to hurt Grindelwald, forgetting about the blood pact. The spell rebounces and hit Ariana causing her death. And I think that is the moment he actually turned against gridelwald and his beliefs and saw that what they are doing is wrong and I also believe that plays a big part on his personality, after that he was always calm and peaceful..... After Ariana died the obscurus inside her escaped and eventually finds credence. As we see, grindelwald is searching for it and when he finds credence he reveals to him that he is a Dumbledore but what he means is that he has a part of Ariana inside him. We learned in crimes of grindelwald that the obscurus is like a dark twin of your self. So credence has this dark twin of Ariana inside him and that's why Dumbledore cares about him and want to save him, he wants to redeem himself
