Based on Grindlewald's and Dumbledore's first altercation, this 17+ minute long fan-made film literally opens with some pretty scenic shots and a bang! There are a few discrepancies (with one character's age, hair colouring for a couple of them, dressed a bit too Muggle-y), but its really quite good! (Super-good "special effects" and music "for an amateur production".) It is available on You Tube. Mrs. Figg wrote: dressed a bit too Muggle-y. I must say, this really drives me nuts (insert snide comments here). One of the central plot themes, is the disconnect between Muggles and Wizards, especially fashion! Even my man Chris Columbus, bowed to muggle pressure in the second movie.

I agree with the muggle-y clothing, although it was really quite well done for amateurs. I would love to learn about special effects and animation - how sounds are separated, added & tweaked. Fascinating stuff! |
