Harry Potter Fans With No Life

Not sure how much snow we got but it was a couple of inches and that's it. Thank goodness. Winds have been gusting so hard blowing snow looks like a blizzard. At least it doesn't look like much to get out of the driveway. And it's also cold, cold, cold. Spring in little better than a month...not sure it'll find Maine under all the snow. lol.

Had a few snow showers this afternoon, that weren't in the forecast.
Rather strong at times, but little accumulation.

ok - who is sending the high winds, cold temps and snow my way ???

I was beginning to think Figgy was going to escape winter.




...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 PM MST this
evening...

* timing...snow will continue today and early this evening... then
diminishing overnight. The snow will be heavy at times from the
foothills of Boulder County southward through the foothills of
Jefferson and Douglas counties.
* Snow accumulations...additional snowfall of 4 to 8 inches.
* Wind/visibility...northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Visibilities
will be reduced to one quarter mile or less in areas of heavy
snow.
* Impacts...roads will be icy and snowpacked with hazardous
travel conditions. Visibilities will be reduced at times due
to the heavy snowfall. If traveling allow extra time to reach
your destination.

Stay safe, Figgy. Some of that mess may come my way but we're not supposed to get much...should be too far out to see and we'll get the outer bands. I hope...

All the spruce trees (40-75ft tall) in my yard had huge clumps of snow on the branches. It looked gorgeous! Took the dog out this morning around 10 just in time for a gust of wind to knock most off in two minutes, bombing the poor dog. She freaked, 'couldn't figure out who/why she was getting bombed with snow.

Poor pooch! Don't know if you've seen it but there's a video out where a lady opens her door, half blocked by snow, shakes her cat's food dish to call the kitty home thinking the cat will climb over the snow bank...the cat comes crashing through the snow bank! lol!

Well, luckily we haven't had much snow lately, thank goodness. But we keep getting those darned bitter cold winds along with sunshine. Blah. Well, next bout...about 6" Saturday night into Sunday. So hoping we'll get less...less is better, less is better, less is better...
