Got what I always wanted...one boy and one girl but I just didn't expect them to be at the same time. lol. The longest day of the year, hot and sunny in Las Vegas that day. Back to the here and now.

Wish there was some way to get some of the remnants of TD Bill up your way. Supposed to give us about 1 - 2 inches of rain Sunday.

Another cell is predicted to pass over us during the night ... keeping my fingers crossed that they are right and that we get up to 4mm (under an inch) of rain.

I think we got about ½" of rain during the night. I am not sure if it will help the farmers but I am rather delighted that my flowers got a bit of natural watering.

Early last evening a front passed which cleared out the hot humid air. It seemed to only take about ten to fifteen minutes.
Nice since then, and today. Heat and humidity returns tomorrow.

there are storm warnings all around us ... but I think we are in the "rumble" zone rather than the "precipitation" zone

lol. Guess "winning" them in Vegas is one way of putting it. lol. Rained like hell this morning then cleared up rather nicely. Still need a lawn mower.

we got some rain ... two days in a row now... wahoo.
best as I can tell, we got approx. 2mm (¾") last evening
