I will try to find the article. The US is tired of Canadians watching shows that they don't think they should be getting. One example was an early release of some popular TV show that was only suppose to be broadcasted to US citizens ... and some Canadians held a subscription to the service and naturally watched them. That is about as much as I can remember of the article. They were going to clamp down.

It is bad enough that a lot of links I get from the US, I cannot watch here ... even YouTube links. It is getting stupid over air or wave rights.

I'm sure that there are thousands of overpaid bureaucrats doing absolutely nothing about this situation, as we speak.

I think the lawyers are now able to buy a second home in the Hamptons with all the legal paperwork involved.

My son & D-in-law were up in northern Vermont and got hooked on North of 40 - its easier to see classified Pentagon papers than get a Canadian show here. I'd bet its the same companies that are blocking you from seeing the stuff broadcast in the lower 48.
