I like the ordinary on the outside...

But once through the door a magical world would unfold.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do Wizard Space. It would be a hoot to have it be bigger/smaller inside than out.

I like the tacky places that look like things (maybe not the big basket near Columbus, Ohio, but definitely buildings that are windmills or mushrooms or tea pots).

I think functional items appearing to be something other than they are is interesting. Like a windmill ... if it appears to be functional, nobody would give it a second thought. However, it would certainly not be. It keeps the looky-loos away from the property - because, let's face it, no matter where it was built, there would always be looky-loos.

Each item could have be theme based also; such as the teapot house could have lots of different teapots around holding plants or water features, the mushroom house the same.

:happy-cheerleadersmileygirl: the 'forbidden forest' within the property would have many paths. Each path would take us to some place special and interesting. Maybe one path would take us to a fishing pond, another to a giant shoe (aka living quarters); another path to the mushroom garden; another path to a Japanese type garden; another path to a photographer's blind (you expected something less from me?); another path to berry trees; another path to the centaur area (aka horses- not sure, they may be better out in the open away from trees- horses, trees and lightening don't really mix too well together) ... the pathways would be limited only to our imaginations.

:handgestures-thumbup: We would, of course, require a 'marauder's map' for all the pathways and their destinations. :happy-smileyflower:

This Forbidden Forest would of course be too large to hike through in less than a week or two.

 a week or two ... wow, either we are very old and walking with walkers or we had better buy out a whole country

I think we are going to need more ideas on areas for the Forbidden Forest ... what else should we have?

Acumantulas, or a huge spiderweb here and there.

Grawpy, or at least signs of his passage.

A wild blue Ford Anglia (who's lights come on from various areas as someone walks past, but you don't see much more than a glimpse of grill though heavy foliage and hear it leave).

Unicorn foals.

Occasional Umbridge screams VERY faintly in the far distance.

Bats and owls swoop around some.

Cool weird flora around.

I was sort of thinking the Estate would involve property that goes beyond the horizon. :P

in that case, we are going to need a couple boats too ... we will surely hit the ocean or sea

and with all that space, we could create our very own HP theme park ... dragons, gringotts,
mind you ... we would have to be careful with what we create so that we don't get sued by JKR
