Yes... you should have.

While the weather itself is being pleasant, we have smoke from the fires several states away that is as thick as if the fires were only fifty miles away. I went to a townhall meeting with our Congressman yesterday and today woke up with clogged sinuses and sore throat from so much gunk in the air.

A few showers today. Cooler and dry for the week.

Yup, critters have a nasty habit of causing power problems up here from time to time. Squirrels love transformers along with the birds, guess raccoons like substations. Only in Maine. Got one hell of a thunderstorm this afternoon. Dew points still up there, tho. MOTS the rest of the week until Friday. btw...guess the Farmer's Almanac is saying same winter this year as last year. Wonderful.

Still waiting for that cooler weather to find my neck of the woods. Should start Friday and last into the weekend. Waiting for the storms to start...should be sometime tonight into tomorrow. Nothing so far, just a lot of wind.

They're talking about getting some rain either overnight or tomorrow that will wash some of the smoke out of the air. And they're saying a change in the Jet Stream will move some of it up to Howler, and probably PH.

I took a friend to a medical appointment in town yesterday and my head's been clogged and icky ever since. Blech!!!

Seems you should have strapped them to the luggage rack.
