I was wearing Army issue Combat Boots.
They worked just fine.

was a beautiful day yesterday ... got a bit of yard work done!

I don't have enough bed sheets to cover them. Guess nature will take it's course. As long as it isn't a hard frost, they should be okay ... they are fairly hearty.
there is one patch of flowers that got hit by frost this spring ... and never bloomed until about a week or so ago. If we get hit by frost, those will be done too. Pity

Wish I was closer, Howler. I have several huge pieces of clear plastic we used to avert frost on the garden a couple years ago that I love to give you. They're not being used and it seems like such a waste.
