I'm house-sitting for friends, down in one of the Denver 'burbs and it was 80F here today.

The TV weather people are saying that out of the past 47 days, 40 have been above average by over ten degrees, most by twenty. And that there hasn't been 1/4 inch of measurable precipitation in all that time. Sure could use some actual rain. (Remind me of this when I'm whining about snow storms in a couple months...)

I caught a glimpse of completely green maples out the bathroom window yesterday that, if you didn't see any pumpkin-ish decorations around, it could have been any month all summer.

This has been such a strange year, and the weirdness started this spring.
Some of my 'spring' flowers bloomed for the first time last week; my summer flowers didn't bloom for very long; and my autumn flowers were a month late in blooming.

going to be another beautiful day, highs of 16C, little wind, some cloud cover.

another day I won't be able to enjoy because I will be stuck inside working. Ugh!
it is the perfect day to drive around and get migratory snow geese photos!
