Harry Potter Fans With No Life

The other day the weather was being reported as Snowmagedon coming, but they've hardly said anything about today's ~ and today's is much snowier! I-70 was shut down several times, sometimes its snowing hard enough that you can barely see, serious cold front coming through so will have single digit temps, too.

Still snowing off and on.

I know it does not rhyme ... it is written to capture the "spirit" of the song (LOL, isn't that what the writers of the HP movies said LOL)

Very nice. Though when I fall now, I can make snow angels.
Still snowing. With the budget crises*, there have been no plows or salt trucks seen.

Now that I've had a chance to try my new tires, I think I'll just go out driving for no reason.
These thing seem to have better traction in this slop, than dry pavement! Even when I tried to get them to slide, they wouldn't.
Totally worth the $860.

The snow brought along with it, cooler temperatures.

Funny we haven't gotten much of anything but rain, rain, and more rain, which isn't a bad thing. With all the rain we've gotten, would have been pretty close to 2 feet of the white stuff! More rain today with the possibility of snow showers and maybe a little snow. Then nice the rest of the week. Been watching the weather news on a couple of different stations...yikes!! That's a LOT of wind and snow to deal with. Glad you're all okay.

Paint...are you guys supposed to salt your own streets because of the budget problems?

Moo - rain can be depressing as heck when it just won't go away. But the one saving grace is that you don't have to shovel it!!

I just listened to a 'weather expert' and how the heavy snow in Siberia affects Eastern Canada and USA ... they are predicting snow like last year. Yikes! I sure hope they are wrong!

Howler, forgot to tell you I love your Christmas carol. lol. The rain has been a bit depressing but no shoveling involved. Rain tonight is supposed to turn over to snow, 1 - 3 inches. Problem will be the falling temps and wet roads. But supposed to be beautiful the rest of the week. Keeping my fingers crossed.
