We are going to have another gorgeous day! highs of 8C; a bit windy (but it is almost always windy here)

No snow but freezing rain and snow showers Tuesday night...that was fun. Been unseasonably warm. Near 50 yesterday, same today, 40s thru at least next weekend and no snow in sight. What's a little worrisome...when we finally do get snow, it'll probably be one hell of a blizzard.

WHY do you taunt me like that, Moo?

Shouldn't it be thirty or forty below around this time of year, up your way?

One thing I learned when I was on the Cab Committee at work, was that CP specs. locomotive toilet chemicals not to freeze above -60°F (-51°C)

I bet all of you will now be able to die happy with this knowledge. :laughing-rolling:

The actual regulation (in the US) is that the cab must be; "Provided with a heating arrangement that maintains a temperature of at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit 6 inches above the center of each seat in the cab compartment."
CFR49 Part 229.119(d)

Sorry, Paint. I wasn't trying to torment you. It's typically in the 30s but this year the weather hasn't been exactly normal. This year is supposed to be much more mild than last year; 27" of snow this time last year, only 3" so far this year. But when we do get that snowfall, I'll try and send some your way.
