Totally crazy. We got some snow along with the wonderful wintry mix. High tomorrow...19. But nothing like what the south got - they don't get that kind of weather in December. Snow in Texas - lived in Lubbock when I was a kid (1970) and it snowed. My cousin moved to Texas a few weeks ago from New Hampshire to escape the snow. No such thing as "seasonal weather" this year.

Ice on the way with strong winds.

Will be preparing for a power outage.

The ice is falling, and the winds are blowing.
I turned the furnace off, as the heat from the battery chargers is providing sufficient warmth. :teasing-neener:

BTW Howler, I also have a supply of emergency alkaline cells to supplement the rechargeable.
If the sun were to appear after a few days, I also have a solar charger.
And let us not forget the gel and wet cell batteries as well. :P :P

Wet cell is what is usually found in cars. Lead-acid.
Gels are usually referred to as sealed lead-acid.

There is actually a chance of thunder tonight.

Thundersnow is supposed to be a rare phenomenon but seems like it happens a lot more than the experts think. For my neck of the woods...typically not good when your town is one of the first 5 listed.
