We didn't get the amount predicted either. But much warmer around here. Just below freezing.

But that's not nearly as cold as normal for your parts of the plain this time of year.
It's going to be in the mid teens °F here today with blustery NW winds.

Our temps are usually -30C to -40C around this time and near the end of this month - so yes, it hasn't been nearly as cold as it normally gets. Mind you, they are already predicting -30C in a couple weeks. (and on the temp scales, -40C = -40F)
