If my little truck didn't have a bad lid, I'd welcome the wind.

bugger it is cold again ... it was warmer this morning when I got up than it was this afternoon ... I don't really care what the thermometer reads, the wind is biting like ice.

Well, made it through last night's winds and rain. Still have some snow left on the ground. Turned off cold - Mother Nature turned the air conditioning back on. And guess what? We're under a winter storm warning. About 6 - 10" of snow starting tomorrow night into most of Wednesday. And yes, I'm so glad I don't have to shovel the driveway! I'll only need to shovel in front of my porch and I can handle that.

Back in the deep freeze today, with blowing snow.

yikes - 'ol man winter is definitely upon everyone.

May have stayed in the single digits Fahrenheit today. Windy this morning, sun the rest of the day.
Put in about 240 mi. on the snow covered roads. Only a few bad spots, where there were drifts. Most of the time the snow just blew across the highway.
Be this afternoon, my poor little red truck had become mostly Morton* White.






*Famous salt company name.

I'm surprised they use road salt up your way. Thought the winters were too cold for it to be effective.

it is a mixture of sand & salt (I think) ... the salt works better in cold than warm.
