The plants are part of the problem. They're a month or more early. We are supposed to get back to Winter weather Tuesday through Friday or Saturday. Those apple blossoms at my friends' house will get frozen, which means the only apples they'll have will be if there are some "late bloomer" buds, and even then it will be far fewer than they normally would have. (Add in the cycles of insects that will be thrown off, they won't have the food they need at the time they need it, which means the birds won't have the insects to feed to their young, which means fewer next-gen of birds... and on it goes.)

'Sposta be precip* Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (overnight low 11F / -11C), daytime highs around freezing.

near blizzard conditions almost all day ... highways were sheets of ice during this morn's drive. YUCK!
(roads were fine on the way home thankfully!)

hopefully it blows your way Paint!


fyi: we have a couple of wind tunnel areas in our yard. One is right in front of the garage doors. Did I stop and shovel the high snow - absolutely not! I just drove over it, backed up and kept driving over it to pack it down. NOT Shoveling! LOL I sure hope the wind and snow dies down before tomorrow morning, or I may not get out of the garage.

We certainly have the wind*... Had a couple of downpours and a little lightning later yesterday afternoon. Nothing close to snow though.
