yesterday's prediction was 20-30mm over the course of the day on Wednesday.
this morning it appears they have changed to total fall from 10-20mm.

still ... I don't have to shovel it and it will wash away (hopefully) some of the salt and sand that has accumulated on the streets.


(last year one of the local towns got over 4" of rain in approx. two hours - needless to say, it kind of flash flooded the town.)

I really like storms like that. It's so cool watching fountains of water shooting into the air, blowing manhole covers out of the ground.

it looks like it was water ejecting from the force of Niagra Falls.
I can't imagine anything like that happening where I live ... first off, you'd have to have lots of water force :mrgreen: I am in the "cough, cough" speedy creek area after all
