Quidditch is an extremely fast-paced game; the Sloth Grip Roll slows your movements down to the point that it appears like one is suspending/slowing time itself. Doing this confuses and out-manipulates any player on the opposition. Only a few exceptional players have ever been able to accomplish this move.
