Some of the kids have magical-mutts for pets, akin to non-magical people's genetically modified ones. A muggle is mostly pug dog with some Merrow spliced in. These are generally pets of the kids from coastal regions.

Trevor is the student that Neville borrows Potions notes from more often than he borrows from Harry. They eat lunch together several times each week, too, though it tends to be a study session more than just something to eat while hanging out.

(With Hermione's assistance) Harry did an in depth report on Salazar Slytherin that so out paced the information even the kids in Slytherin House had available, that they were all convinced he had "inside/ family" information.
