lol - my dog used to try to climb up inside my pantleg ... poor thing. I would put on my housecoat and just tuck her inside and wrap her up.

Nasty, nasty storm heading our way; will be above us within the hour (or less)

Well, yesterday afternoon was a hoot. Baked all day - temp 89, humidity up there, dew points around 70. Got dark as hell then all hell broke loose. Lightening all over the place, thunder really loud (tho ear plugs weren't needed), torrential downpours is an understatement, seemingly neverending winds. wow! Started hearing thumping on my roof when it dawned on me...hail. Had Muggle Son's car in my driveway so I decided to look out the kitchen window and check on it...pea-sized hail with some rather large chunks everywhere! What a storm! Oh...tornado warning in Aroostook County with one confirmed touching down in the woods (just missed one of the smaller towns from what I heard) and a second unconfirmed touchdown.

Came through it fine. No damage to the house and Muggle's Son car was okay. I was surprised there wasn't much debris, just a few places here and there - mainly small twigs. And didn't lose power, thank goodness. Today has been absolutely beautiful! No 3 H's today tho they're coming back in time for the weekend. Oh joy.
