A bit nicer today, though a little downpour popped up this afternoon.
Should be cooler & drier the next few days.

Surfs UP! Lots of monsoon moisture here right now.

Yesterday one of these cells parked over Colorado Springs and they ended up with a foot or more of hail. They had to get the snow plows out to move it around and something like eight people had to be rescued from cars that were stuck in it.

On Monday we had a similar situation, but without the hail. Streets were flooded and cars stranded.


I wonder what makes people think they can get through when ahead of them, only car roofs are visible.

The best part is getting cussed-out when you won't let them drive around the barricades.

every day, so many folks have the "it won't happen to me" attitude ... so they drive through high waters (or on thin ice, or etc)
but Figgy, I do believe they really should be removed from the gene pool!

MUCH nicer to finish the week. Humidity was lower, and temps. about normal.

supposed to be a lovely day today ... good thing, because by Monday our high temp is predicted to be only 12C (53F) with a prediction of moisture, of course.

Dew points on the rise, along with temps. Hoping Howler weather will arrive soon.
