same same here ... colder temps; haven't seen the sky in over 3 days now; intermittent white stuff falling to the ground.

personally, I am going to take this as the sign of March's Lion ... therefore, March will end like a lamb

Well, by the time it gets here, it's going to be a mix transitioning to rain. And that's it. Too warm to become anything else at the moment.

Hang on to that thought! :laughing-rolling:

It was over 35° cooler here today than just a couple of days ago... :angelic-halofell: :P

I was thinking the same thing, Howler. March...in like a lion (and it will be roaring), out like a lamb. Only upper 30s, maybe low 40s today but the next few mornings are supposed to be in the teens and 20s. Still have some ice in my driveway but it's a LOT better than is was. Still winter, after all.

Sever weather rolled through late yesterday afternoon.
The first tornadoes of the season went a ways south and east of me.

.Overview... During the afternoon and evening hours Tuesday,
February 28th, 2017 a strong storm system brought supercell
thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes to
extreme eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois. These are the first
known tornadoes to impact the local area in the month of February.

A damage survey found damage along the path of snapped Pine trees,
damaged farm outbuildings, and unroofed an attached garage and part
of a house. A second house also sustained damage to its roof.
