...Nor`easter expected Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday...
.The Nor`easter will track northeast from the Mid-Atlantic region on Tuesday and across the Gulf of Maine on Tuesday night. The storm will weaken as it tracks through the state on Wednesday.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TUESDAY TO NOON EDT WEDNESDAY...
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...12 to 16 inches.
* LOCATIONS...East Central Maine...Upper Penobscot Valley...the greater Bangor area...and interior Downeast Maine.
* HAZARD TYPES...Heavy snow and blowing snow. Snow may mix with sleet and freezing rain Tuesday night.
* TIMING...1 pm Tuesday through noon Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Heavy snow and strong winds will create very hazardous traveling conditions. Blowing and drifting snow will cause near whiteout conditions at times. Strong winds will lead to possible power outages. Blizzard conditions are possible later Tuesday afternoon into the early evening.
* WINDS...Northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* VISIBILITIES...One quarter mile or less at times.
* TEMPERATURES...In the upper 20s.
