Well, doesn't look good for a few farmers. It appears that what they just seeded got blown away. The dust storms in the afternoon were unbelievable.

There just may be a lot of farmers with mixed fields this year ... going to be interesting!

replanting is a costly endeavor; but what choices do they have
there must have been some seeds flying about if you were in tornado conditions.

and here, replanting will still not guarantee they do not have a "mixed cereal grain" harvest.

your area is sure getting soaked (pardon the pun). Wash (rain), rinse, repeat ...


windy (although not as bad as a couple days ago); light showers expected, then clearing up for the remainder of the day.

Crappy weather all week and downpours all day Friday. At least hydroplaning on the way to work wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Cloudy all day yesterday until about 6:30 when the sun finally broke through. Sunny and beautiful today but rain returns tomorrow and most of the week. Yippee. At least my car will lost that lovely yellow tint that loves showing up this time of year. Pollen. blah.
