mind you, the farmers won't be happy - a lot of them have started harvest already

See! All you needed to do was get the Farmers trying to do anything that needed it to keep being dry and it would instantly rain. Its better than a rain dance. The next best thing would be to plan a big event outdoors (a wedding reception, fair, etc.) which works almost as well. You could tailor it to your own specifics, like a photo shoot that absolutely needs a bright sunny day.

lol. Think that same philosophy works everywhere. Need rain...plan something! Crappy dew points are finally gone, nice today. Got a little rain over the past few days but not really much. Thunderstorms last night, sort of, lots of flashing going in those clouds last night. Decent little lightening show.

After a few downpours and just plan rain, my lawn is finally looking quite green! But we're still in a drought condition here tho it's not too bad. Yet. Another sunny, comfortable Sunday before the 3 Hs return for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...temps are going to be upper 80s to 90 before we get any relief sometime Wednesday into Thursday. Yippee.

A little sun and blue skies this morning but not much. Remnants of Harvey expected this afternoon. Just rain, rain, rain. And we really need it right now. At least tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful but the dew points will be on the rise tomorrow afternoon. Yuck.
