I can't help but wonder if the HP thing will die out completely due to all the "death grips" of legal restrictions.

If the legal stuff helped make JKR's life easier I would be less annoyed with it, but it really does seem to be just there to take away the joy. She was so good about encouraging her readers to be creative at first, then the lawyers got involved and it did take away a lot of the joy. I think it draws down her own enjoyment, but her hands are tied as to what she can actually do about anything.

JKR has HP Police ... really, quite another absurd unnecessity
