So glad I am not alone with all this volatile weather systems. It has been insanely unstable everywhere.

We were so muggy and humid last week...all around dripping. And not much rain in sight in my neck of the woods. Lot of thunderstorms in southern Maine; caused a lot of wind damage in some small towns. A reprieve the next few days then back to the icky muggies. No tornados here that I know of...just dew points in the 70s. And hot. Round 2 this week...

Well, still muggy as hell, rained most of the day yesterday (which helped cool things down a bit), more of the same next week. BLAH!!!!!!!!! Might get some relief Thursday...I hope so. Tired of the dew points being either side of 70; makes sleeping at night tough. ugh!!!

It was so smokey here toward the end of last week that I could barely inhale, then we got some rain. There's still quite a bit, but not as bad last week, but it has also rained a little more.

good to hear that the rains settled the smoke down. I know how hard it is to breath in such smokey conditions
Stay Safe Figgy!!!!

our weather can be summed up with this pic ... temps over 40C (106F yesterday). One day reprieve, then about 5 more days predicted with the over 100 F temps. But at least the tornados have taken a step back, which I am very grateful for!

Yikes, ladies! We had crappy dew points and 90+ heat but nothing what you've gone through. We've had a reprieve since Friday but dew points are picking back up. Luckily, not the temps, thank goodness. Stay safe, you two! moo!

Well, had our first snow Friday and Saturday. Didn't stay, thank goodness. Not ready for that just yet. But Friday, driving to work in horizontal snow and wicked slushy roads...blah!!! Luckily the rain got rid of it in my neck of the woods. Quite a few places still have about 1" snow on the ground. Yup, winter's coming.

time to get the winter tires on Moo!!! Stay safe!!!

We had our first fall about a month ago ... way, way too early. (snowed for about a week - gag)
thank goodness the weather warmed up to seasonal and it all melted.
we are back to chilly weather

I feel robbed this year. Spring was so ridiculously late ... and summer went straight into winter. It has been a very cruel year in our area (not to mention the lack of rain and so many ponds drying up)

I think we got most of your rain. Rained so much here, we're tired of it. Want sunshine! Today and tomorrow are supposed to be lovely, tho only in the mid 40s but I can live with that. Wicked rain and 50+ mph winds yesterday. Last night, lost power for 3 1/2 hours. We were the lucky ones as this morning, still over 50,000 with no power. Lots of downed power lines and downed trees. I haven't ventured out today but I'm guessing there's debris everywhere.
