"Fluffy" is the nickname for the Spell the kids use to make their beds and other worn furniture more usable and comfy.

Where would one find snacks or drinks after/between meals, and do all students have access to such?

He bought the Weird Sisters to play for an unscheduled dance.

Hedwig was injured in a crash during the House Owl Race. She got mashed between several larger owls in a pile up on Turn Two.

Which step was "funny" on the one staircase, and what was tricky about it?

The "funny" stairstep is firstly, peripatetic, constantly moving from one place to another. When stepped upon it speaks - sometimes it tells inappropriate jokes, sometimes it blurts out the name of the person stepping on it (especially after hours when students are not to be wondering around), and sometimes it gives compliments (but this is very, very rare (Dumbledore thinks it only happens on the stairstep's birthday, but is unable to verify this as truth).

Wonderful answer!

There is a dedicated, direct-to-the-kitchens, hallway.

Difficult to say ... Diagon Alley is located on a floating cloud. It hovers between London, Glasgow and Edinburgh though. Access is by apparition only.

The quacking of ducks is fatal to basilisk, thus the rubber bath duck is a symbol of good luck and frequently given as a house warming gift.

What is the difference between "O.W.L" and "Owl", in the magical world?
