At 3:30 am today it was -5F/-20.5 C here... Denver broke three record low temps since Saturday (record low overnite, record low high temp for the daytime hours, and record low overnite again).
There is something like officially 9-10" snow, but since several days up to and including Saturday were short-sleeved warm, it melted and compacted for several hours at first, so its more like 5 or 6".

We are not amused.

we had those temps a few days ago; don't want again
we also got white crap ... but only a couple inches - it has since melted.


it is suppose to warm up this weekend (YAY)
all the waterways are still frozen solid. Not good for the immigration of birds returning.

Good news-bad news. A few hours before dawn it began to snow. This snowfall became heavier and stronger. :happy-smileygiantred: Close to a couple of inches.


Then everything went to Hell. By three this afternoon it had almost all melted. :crying-yellow:




But there's still hope. Snow is expected Friday. :handgestures-fingerscrossed:

Was sunny and nice today, above freezing, but not by much...

Overnight it will start snowing and be cold again. We're supposed to get 6-12" and not be above freezing until Friday or Saturday.

Luckily the mess we got the first part of last week was gone by the end of the week. Been cool all week; yesterday was nice, beautiful so far this morning. I can deal with that. And thankfully no snow expected here, just rain. With any luck, the snow will visit Paint for a while. So ready for warmer temps. Though it's a bit cool, I'll take sunny weather for now.

I can't tell you how tired I am of mock 90 winds and snow!!!
